The Three Daggers pub offers seasonal menus serving lunch and dinner throughout the week as well as an AA award-winning breakfast. The pub also serves ales from the the Three Daggers own onsite micro-brewery. The farm shop next door offers local produce and freshly cooked pies, quiches, sausage rolls, sandwiches and salads as well as housing a beautiful gift shop. Hillside Cottage’s own Spa Barn – Perched on the hill a few steps above Hillside Cottage is a small barn hiding a big secret. Open the doors and inside you will find a fully glass-fronted sauna as well as a steam room with perhaps the best view in Wiltshire. To complete the luxury of this set up on the patio immediately in front of the barn is a plunge pool and hot tub and rolling countryside as far as the eye can see. This is included in Hillside Cottage when you book and is yours to enjoy.
Hillside Cottage’s own hideaway cabin – Continue up the path from the small spa barn and you arrive at Trailhead Cabin – the perfect chill out space where you can read a book, have a drink, play darts and relax into the evening. Inside there is a fridge for your drinks and a wood burning stove to keep you snug. Outside is a large patio with a sunken firepit – the only thing between you and a spectacular view. There’s not many places like this to enjoy a sun downer and watch the world go by.
Why not try...
We are very focused on seasonal and local food and have a relentless enthusiasm to produce flavour driven dishes from our Great British larder. With a farm to fork approach to menu planning, we start with the farmer/grower and simply marry them together with seasonal ingredients that sing quality and provenance.
